Key SBCP Achievements in 2018
This year has been a fantastic year where more companies than ever have contributed to the the Slough Community. Below are just some of the achievements from the SBCP’s Programmes from the last year.
HOW YOU CAN GET INVOLVED:
SBCP’s Challenge Calendar
We produce our Challenge Calendar quarterly and it provides our business members with a range of activities and the opportunity to support a community organisation. Businesses can use this as an opportunity for team building whilst at the same time helping the local community through tasks such as painting a local community centre or rejuvenating a local school garden.
Business 2 Community Skills events
We hold Skills events for the benefit of voluntary sector organisations each year that provides the delegates with information and guidance on a range of topics from Cloud Computing to Risk Management. These events are free and we invite business people to share their expertise and ‘best’ practice via short skills presentations. We regularly have in 15-20 voluntary groups attending these events.
